Philippe Borremans

Philippe Borremans is an independent consultant in Public Relations, focusing on Emergency Risk & Crisis Communication. He holds the position of President at the International Public Relations Association for the year 2021. His work involves strategic communication projects aimed at epidemic and pandemic preparedness, collaborating with the World Health Organization, the European Union, and the West African Union.

In his role as a Crisis Communications specialist, Borremans provides services to multinational companies in Europe and North Africa. Before moving to Morocco and later to Portugal, he served as Chief Social Media Officer and CSR coordinator at Van Marcke Trading Group. His career also includes several communications roles at IBM, focusing on Corporate and Online Communications at both national and European levels. Borremans began his career in Public Relations at Porter Novelli International in Brussels. Additionally, he is a guest lecturer at universities and business schools in Europe and North Africa.
