Not much this week, work as been demanding.
On a personal note, I’ve been looking into finding a path to get the autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (aHSCT) in an attempt to improve my quality of life. It’s still not available in Portugal.
Work-wise, I am very focused on pushing Gregory forward and am looking for organisations who may benefit from it. I’ve also fallen behind in publishing the activity report of what we accomplished last year.
Been finding some interesting Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, the most promising being Dalai
https://cocktailpeanut.github.io/dalai/
Think of this as being one step forward in running ChatGPT on your computer for free. It’s aimed at developers and other geeks.
These models are what make it possible for computers to understand the meaning behind the prompts we give them, and then generate the appropriate response.
Dalai allows to use two of them, LLaMA (Large Language Model Meta AI) that was release by Meta, and Stanford Alpaca.
Some other tools I found for Twitter.
