The AI-HED Project, co-funded by the European Commission, explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be integrated into higher education to enhance teaching and learning experiences. The project brings together a consortium of European universities to develop AI literacy, test AI-based educational tools, and create guidelines for responsible AI use in academia.
Project Objectives
- Enhancing AI Literacy: Providing training, an AI starter kit, and a MOOC for university lecturers.
- Developing AI-Powered Courses: Designing and testing 16 pilot courses that integrate AI into diverse disciplines.
- Promoting Ethical AI Use: Addressing concerns around academic integrity, intellectual property, bias, and data privacy.
- Collaborative Knowledge Sharing: Hosting workshops and outreach activities to engage the higher education community.
